We now deliver to Fernley, Fallon and Silver Springs, as well as drops at two local Apartment Complexes (Whitetell and Zephyr Pointe) Dates and times
We provide Food Assistance to the Working Impoverished:
- Our mission is to alleviate the malnutrition of the impoverished residents of Northern Nevada.
- Currently, we are providing food to Reno/Sparks community.
- We have expanded to include Fernley, Fallon, NV with a delivery program every Thursday evening and Silver Springs on Friday evening.

Hands of Hope Food Bank, a dba of Empowering Parents, Inc, a Federally recognized 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, 509(a)(1) Public Charity. We recieve NO government funding for our organization. This is a Hand Up, and NOT a Hand Out!
We have been open in our new location at 295 Gentry Way, Suite 19 for over 3 years now. We are located in the back of the San Gabriel Center at the corner of Yori Ave and Gentry Way.
We have been able to reach our goal of moving into a new location where we have the capability of refrigeration and more storage so we can expand our services. The service and products that we are able to provide to the local community with these resources are needed by the community.
Through our Shared Maintenance Fee (SMF) of $10 per family per visit, we have been able to cover our operating expenses and procure a 24' Refrigerated Truck.
This has allowed our program to increase the number of donation sources, and also receive a much larger variety of products from the sources.
We are looking for a larger warehouse (Industrial/Commercial) facility for expansion. If you have information on a possible facility, please email us, or contact us at our office phone number.
